Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery
The State is scheduled to receive $11.7 from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) in Community Development Block Grant Disaster funds (CDBG Disaster). Approximately 80% of the funds will be reserved for Ward County the remaining 20% will be available, on a competitive basis, to the other counties in the state that received a 2011 FEMA Individual Assistance declaration. The counties are Barnes, Benson, Burleigh, McHenry, Morton, Ramsey, Renville, Richland and the Spirit Lake Reservation.
The Action Plan which serves as the state's grant application to the Federal Department of Housing and Urban Development for the Supplemental Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery Funds is available for review and comment.
Written comments must be received by the close of business July 5, 2012.
