The low income assistance activities within DCS center around the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) program. The CSBG program is administered statewide by DCS with direct client services being provided through the state's seven Community Action Agencies (CAAs).
CSBG programs and services are designed to promote self-sufficiency, family stability and community revitalization.
